WIP Wednesday: In pieces

No, not me, just my next quilt.

I cut the pieces for this quilt about a month ago, and now have 23 days left to finish it before the recipient’s birthday is upon me! Let’s hope I can still remember the pattern.

    1. Heh, it’s not as impressive as it sounds – mostly long straight lines and no fussy cutting! But thanks anyway. Given the state of our flat at the moment, I might need it.

    1. It’s for my best friend’s little boy – he’s had Very Hungry Caterpillar stuff since he was born, so it seemed the perfect 1st birthday present 🙂 I hadn’t seen it before, but now it’s all over the place!

      I tend to be someone who thinks about things for a long time, then suddenly gets on and does them – my record is a mini-quit in 5 days – so hopefully a month will be possible!

  7. kalsdjfl That fabric. I can’t stop gaping at it, I loooove Eric Carle. His colours and shapes look marvellous as fabric! I wish the stores near me sold this.

    Good luck with your quilting deadline, I’ll be so excited to see this as a finished object. 😀

    1. Hee! There’s lots of places online selling this fabric now, although I found it in my local fabric shop.
